I was invited by Shehera Grot to be part of a group exhibition at Rotterdam’s best known art gallery ROODKAPJE. Manumission focusses not only on the 150th anniversary of Keti Koti; the dutch abolition of slavery on July 1st 1863, but also addresses consequential issues that today’s generation are confronted with such as identity and ideas on equality.
